Nommensen Law Offices is located in Elkhorn, Wisconsin (Walworth County) and consists of attorneys David J. Nommensen and Julie H. Nommensen. We are a father-daughter team, sharing a passion for helping the elderly and those who care for them. We primarily focus on the areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, guardianships, and real estate transactions. However, we also remain true to our small-town “general practice” roots, which means we take cases in other areas of law as well. If we are not able to assist you with a particular legal matter, we will gladly refer you to an experienced local attorney who practices in that area of law.

Attorney David J. Nommensen has more than 40 years of legal experience in Walworth County. He spent most of his career as a general practitioner, handling cases from virtually all areas of law. He now concentrates his practice in the areas in which he is most passionate: estate planning, probate, elder law, and real estate transactions. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the Elder Law Section of the Wisconsin State Bar.  He has attained the highest possible Rating (“AV Preeminent) from Martindale-Hubbell, recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.

Attorney Julie H. Nommensen joined her father at Nommensen Law in 2008, after graduating in the top 10% of her class at Northern Illinois College of Law. Using her experienced father as her mentor, she has been able to provide exceptional legal representation to her clients since day one. Julie has a concentration in the area of elder law, particulary Title 19/Medicaid applications and Guardianships, and also handles cases in several other areas of law.

Our office is conveniently located in downtown Elkhorn, on South Lincoln Street, between Subway restaurant and the Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce. There is ample parking in the front of the office, including handicapped parking and a handicapped entrance. In certain circumstances, we will be glad to visit clients in their homes, nursing facilities, or other locations.
